PST Series Pure Sine Wave Inverters
120 VAC
Samlex PST Series inverters have been in the field in a variety of applications for over 10 years. They are extremely reliable pure sine wave inverters that are available in 12V, 24V , and some 48V versions. The biggest benefit of pure sine wave inverters is that you basically get the purest electrical signal possible - exactly as you would from plugging in at home. Certain electronics, like microwaves and motors, for example, will run faster, quieter, and cooler. Plus, the dual AC outlets on these inverters make it even more convenenient to run your AC appliances.
APPLICATIONS:
- Boats, RVs, trucks, specialty vehicles
- Alternative energy, off-grid, cabins, remote locations, areas with unreliable utility power
- Back-up and emergency power applications
FEATURES:
- Pure sine wave output for the cleanest signal, as you would get in your home
- High effeciency units
- 2X surge for higher power startup loads - such as air conditioners, microwaves, power tools
- Temperature controlled cooling fan helps reduce energy consumption
- Wide operating DC input voltage range
- LED indicators indicate power and protections
- Low consumption power
- Dual GFCI protected AC outlets
- Commercial grade design designed for heavy duty loads , long periods of use, and backup power
- Protections include low voltage, over voltage, over temperature, and overload and short circuit
- Optional Remote Controls available for 600W and higher models (*Remote Input on the 3000W model only - allows you to turn inverter ON/OFF with ignition start or any other switch)
- Safety certified to UL & CSA standards, FCC compliant
- 3-year limited warranty

Here are some tips from the altE staff
- What kind and size of lugs and battery cable does this inverter use?
- It uses non-insulated pin type of lugs (PTNB 50-20) that attach to the inverter itself. Cable size should be 1/0 AWG. The other side of the battery cable (that attaches to the actual battery) is whatever terminal lug you'd prefer (most common is with a 3/8" hole).

- What kind and size battery lug and cable does this inverter use?
- It uses a pin type lug (PTNB35-20) that fits #2 AWG battery cable. The pin lug is what actually goes into the inverter. On the other side of the cable you'll put whatever lug is appropriate for your battery bank or DC disconnect center.
