Cellular Modem Cards
Go wireless with SolarEdge! SolarEdge offers a cellular communication solution with a 5-year
data or 12-year data plan. Configuring the inverter for cellular communication, after the modem is installed, is pretty straight forward. The modem communicates with the SolarEdge monitoring portal every several hours and sends all monitoring data that has been logged since last communication.
- For residential systems up to 11.4kW
- V2 Cell Modem cards are compatible only with new SolarEdge inverters with SetApp configuration (shipping Feb/Mar 2019)
- Residential systems with new SetApp configuration need (1) V2 cellular modem per inverter/up to 45 optimizers, and 1 meter
- GSM Cell Modem kits are compatible only with current SolarEdge inverters
- Residential systems with current SolarEdge inverters need (1) GSM cellular modem per inverter/up to 60 optimizers, and 2 meters
- Connects SolarEdge inverters wirelessly to the Internet
