The optional AXS card for the Outback Flexmax Extreme allows Ethernet access to the charge controller using the Modbus protocol. The AXS card is intended for use instead of a system display (Mate, Mate2 or Mate3). The charge controller is not designed to work with both the AXS card and a display. The AXS card can be used for remote monitoring and upgrading over a network. The AXS card is identical in function to the AXS Port SunSpec Modbus Interface but they are not interchangeable inside the charge controller. Enables Stand Alone OpticsRE on the FM Extreme. Remote command and control through ModBus over TCP/IP. Data Logging for system performance on the included micro SD card.
