Labels are applied by hand to PV installations where durable UV resistant marking is required. For use on EMT conduit, raceways, enclosures, cable assemblies and junction boxes
Pre-Printed Reflective Solar Labels are made using high performance UV stable materials and adhesives. Designed to meet NEC and IFC standards for PV installation labeling, the pre-printed Reflective Solar labels come printed with the most common legends required by the AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) used on large utility and scaled projects. Labels are UV stable and made with special high bond adhesives to stick to both powder coat painted surfaces and baked enamel surfaces found on most disconnect switches and breaker boxes. The reflective inks meet the fire safety standards of the IFC (International Fire Code) and also meet the requirements of UL969.
NEC 690.31(E)(3)(4), IFC 605.11.1.4 & CAL FIRE 1.0 - Marking shall be placed on all interior and exterior DC conduit, raceways, enclosures, and cable assemblies every 10 feet (3048mm) within 1 foot (305mm) of all turns or bends and within 1 foot(305mm) above and below all penetrations for roof/ceiling assemblies and all walls and/or barriers.
Main Service Disconnect: Marking - IFC 605.11.1.3 - This marking shall also be placed adjacent to the main service disconnect in a location clearly visible from the location where the disconnect is operated.
