For compact, high-density home energy storage, look no further than the E-BOX-48100R rack-mounted 48V lithium battery pack from Pytes Energy. The E-BOX-48100R is a server rack style or "blade" style LFP battery with a lifespan of 6000+ cycles - enough to last over 16 years if cycled once every single day. With LiFePO4 cells tolerant of up to 90% depth of discharge, the 48100R battery pack provides 4.6 kWh of usable energy in a highly compact and easy-to-use footprint.
One of the best features of server rack style batteries like the Pytes E-BOX-48100R is the potential and ease of stacking in parallel to add capacity. While one or two of these batteries is usually adequate to back up critical loads in a home, you can group or "cluster" up to eight 48100R lithium battery packs together by connecting them in parallel - and up to seven clusters of this size can be combined using the Pytes HUB to create massive energy storage banks of up to 286.72 kWh for use in commercial and industrial applications.

FAQ:
Can you please provide a chart that displays voltage readings as a reflection of the state of charge?
The corresponding relationship between voltage and SOC is different at different temperatures, different charge and discharge rates, and different lifespans. So LFP battery controls the battery operation through the SOC, not voltage.
What Is the operating temp range for both charge and discharge?
Charge temp range is 32F - 113F
Discharge temp range is 14F - 122F
What is the best way to store the batteries if they are not being used?
When you get the battery, the SOC of each battery is 45%~50%. Usually it could be stored for 3~6 months. The battery needs to be recharged every 6 months to more than 80% SOC. If you want storage longer(>6 months), please charge it to 80% SOC first. But usually long-term storage is not recommended because it will influence the performance of the battery. See the installation manual for more specifics on storage temperature.
Does the E-box have built-in over current protection?
The battery has BMS protection, the battery overcurrent protection will be activated after the current exceeds 102A for 15s, and then If the current is as high as 200A (0.1s). The secondary protection of the battery will be triggered at this time, and the BMS will control to turn off the mosfet to cut off the circuit. If the current exceeds 320A after a period, the fuse will be blown to protect the circuit. In this case, a new BMS board needs to be replaced to make the battery work again, because the fuse is integrated on the PCB board. (But usually it takes time for the fuse to blow, and the BMS protection will be triggered to turn off the mosfet to disconnect the circuit before fuse is blown, The breakdown current of the mosfet is 800A, so usually the hardware will not be damaged by overcurrent.)
Any compatibility issues with XW6848 pro or Outback Radian inverters?
XW6848 Pro and Outback Radian inverters are compatible with Pytes batteries with open loop communication. Additionally, systems with these inverters would not have UL9540. Check with altE for the latest compatible 9540 inverters with this battery, as more are being added often.
There are additional technical notes regarding compatibility with Outback and Scheider inverters in the documents tab above.
Can we get a copy of the terms of the warranty?
Yes, it is posted in the documents tab above.
What additional components are required to maintain UL9540 when using E-Box with Sol-Ark?
See the Sol-Ark Guide in the documents section above.
