Midnite's KID 30 amp MPPT charge controller has so many great features - we don't know where to begin! Ideal for small renewable energy systems, the KID allows for true input paralleling. As your power needs grow, and you need more than 30A, add more modules to the array, and a second KID. This will give you twice the power from a single array, and will act as a 60A charge controller for the system. Up to 12 charge controllers can be wired together, for even more potential, giving you a nice, scalable solution.
Features:- Now includes AGS - Auto Generator Start
- MPPT Tracking
- True paralleling - Inputs and Outputs for two KIDs
- Up to 150VDC input with Midnite's exclusive HyperVOC extending the input voltage beyond 150 VOC for cold climates
- 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V battery output
- Load/Clipper function user selectable. Clipper function is used on Wind/Hydro and requires an additional Midnite KID Clipper
- Lighting Controller: dusk-dawn; hourly; day; night settings
- Up to 30 amps battery output with low input voltage based off of PV configuration
- No fan, for quiet operation
- Reverse polarity protected
- Front panel exchangeable fuses for battery, input and load/clipper
- 3 LED bar graph for battery status at a glance
- Keypad for access to extensive menu items and set points
- Sealed for harsh environments
- Fuses are built right in - one for the Battery, one for the Solar Input, and one for the Load Control
- Now includes Prewired Wall Mount Harness connected to the KID
- USB port included - easy to install firmware updates when needed
- Auxiliary port - can be used for generator starter, low battery disconnect signal, or Amp-Hour reading of the batteries, with the Whiz Bang Jr.
