XHHW-2 Stranded Single-Conductor Wire
10AWG, White Insulation
Use this wire as a grounded conductor IN CONDUIT from the enclosure at the site of the array (pass thru or combiner box) to the next DC enclosure (either a DC disconnect switch for grid tie, or a DC power distribution center in off grid systems). NOT for use in pv source circuits in free air, and NOT sunlight resistant.
Description:
Single conductor crosslinked polyethylene (XLP or XLPE) Type XHHW-2 for use at 600 volts or less. It is approved per the NEC for general purpose lighting and power applications at a maximum continuous operating temperature of 90 degrees C in wet and dry locations. Suitable for use in low leakage circuits requiring a dielectric constant of 3.5 or less. Manufactured to UL, ASTM, ICEA, and NEMA Specifications.
