#2 -  Renewable Energy > Technical Discussion: Other > Air Breeze performance
Hello,
I would like to know if 'Air Breeze 24 volt' is good in my location. Details as follows;
Latitude 9.019
Longitude 7.493
Some information says that at 20 meter my wind speed is between 2.7 to 4.2 m/s (6.1 to 9.5)mph.
I would like to know if Air breeze can be used to charge my system of 24volts at 200Amp-Hr.
My building is duplex without any obstruction around, i do not know the actual hight from ground to the top where i have my satellite disc installed.

Thanks

#3 -  Renewable Energy > Technical Discussion: Other > 120 volts Vs 220 volts
Could someone educate me on country voltage of 120volts or 220volts? Countries like USA,JAPAN use 120 volts while UK,Nigeria use 220 volts, what is the advantage(s) one has over the other especially in renewable energy system?

Thanks you

Kazaure

I'm reading the posts for sure. i do not chimed in because im still learnig from your experiences, for you as an off gridder while John as on grid person like my self.
You need to understand that i fully relyed on utility power to charge my battery. therefore, John idea for CVS is also very imfortant cos i may not available always to monitor the battery myself.

Thanks Dave,
That link has immensely improved my knowledge indeed on the misery of battery stage of charge.
Once again, Thank you.

Most of the 12volts inverter cutout the battery at 10.5volts to prevent over discharging.

Based on the battery stage of charge i got it shows the following;
% of Charge  12V Battery
 100           12.70
  95           12.64
  90           12.58
  85           12.52
  80           12.46
  75           12.40
  70           12.36
  65           12.32
  60           12.28
  55           12.24
  50           12.20
  45           12.16
  40           12.12
  35           12.08
  30           12.04
  25           12.00
  20           11.98
  15           11.96
  10           11.94
   5           11.92
Discharged     11.90
From the above scenario what could be the fate of the battery that reaches 10.5volts before cutoff? At what percentage does 10.5volts stand for?
Help me out

#7 -  Renewable Energy > Technical Discussion: Other > Battery Bank
I came across a faulty battery on 24 volts system with 200 amp-hr bank capacity.
2 strings of 100 amp-hr
The battery bank is 1 year old, Could it be wise to replace the only faulty battery?
