Looking for an UL and CSA approved instant water heater.

Any ventless available? Can install outside and remove in winter. Cabin is used only in summer.
Thanks Jerry

Have you sold the panels yet?

#4 -  Renewable Energy > RE General Discussion > Ceiling fan
The log cabin we are building has a cathedral ceiling over the living area.
Looking for an energy efficient ceiling fan with no light to drive the hot air down. Remote control maybe .
Thanks

#5 -  Renewable Energy > RE General Discussion > Magnum controller
Someone quoted a system for me and it consisted of a 2812 e panel,also a MX60controller.
He also included a Magnum controller $173.
What is it for? won't the MX60 do everything?
Is it a scam?

#6 -  Renewable Energy > RE General Discussion > Re: Arc fault detectors
James - If I step up to a pure sine wave which would you recommend a Magnum MS2812 or an Outback FX2524T or VFX2812?
I would have thought the FX would be cheaper than the VFX.
Please comment on the reliability of the Magnum vs Outback.
Thanks

#8 -  Renewable Energy > RE General Discussion > Arc fault detectors
In Ontario we have to install arc fault detectors in any bedroom outlets.
I have heard that the DR series Xantex will not let these work properly.   Any comment?
If the DR will not work with these what will?
Do I need to go to a pure sine inverter?
For what I'm going to run I can use a modified.
Trying to keep the cost down. I was looking at the DR2812.
Thanks  Jerry

#9 -  Renewable Energy > RE General Discussion > Winter storage of batteries
This summer I got 4 Deka Gel batteries for a system I will install next year.
I have them in an unheated garage - Toronto Ontario.
They were supposed to be fully charged but not sure.
Should I take any precaution to prevent them from freezing?
Thanks  Jerry
