Any good performance reports for the Solarsheat 1500G vs. Cansolair?
I am looking to purchase a solar air heater. Two main players here are the Cansolair and Solarsheat.
I can find a great deal of information on the Cansolair (via this website and others - user reports, an official performance test report and even the original patent disclosure).
However, for the Solarsheat, this data seems to be lacking (only one general user report, which happens to be located here on this site).
Both have pluses and minuses from what I can gather. One seems to indicate almost twice the Btu output than the other (for a slightly larger foot print), though has a more complex blower system (possibly with more noise). The other looks very high quality with simple installation and integral PV fan.
Has anyone out there compared the two (side by side ideally), or know of an agency that has?
Any pro's and cons to be aware of? The lack of user reviews and real performance data (Btu/sq ft, Collector Efficiency - or whatever) on the Solarsheat seems odd. No doubt they have been used on a number of installations but I cannot locate much customer feedback.
I imagine others who have purchased one or the other have gone through a similar data search, so hopefully some will chime in here.
Any input here would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and Regards,
