charging a digit camera on bicycle

It seems difficult to recharge our digital camera battery charger from a flexible solar panel.  It looks like there are lighter adaptator but nothing to convert the solar power so that I can plug in my charger.

We are preparing a major tour on bicycle and are looking for advice.

If I understand you correctly, the camera has a battery charger adapter that allows you to charge from a motor vehicles cigarette lighter.

Well, if the flexible PV module is 12 vdc nominal, then just go to the store and buy a "female" lighter socket and wire it to the PV module.

The center pin is positive the outer contacts negative.

Using a solar panel directly may do damage to your camera due to fluctuating voltage and current....If your camera uses batteries...I would think the best way would be to purchase a solar battery charger....the small ones for AA  AAA etc....or do a search for 3 6 9 12 volt mini panel.....you may find modern outpost in canada may have a cheap solution for you......
