parallel stacking of two trace DR 2412

Hello, I baught a second  Trace dr 2412 to run 220vac loads. It turned out that I changed my mind and I will not to run 220 VAC appliances. I have read that it is possible to stack the 2 units parallely to cumulate  the 4800 watts on the same leg instead of having 2400 watts on 2 different legs. However, there is no mention in the owner manuel. could anyone light my ``lantern``.
