connecting turbine to solar

I have a solar system set up for 24v.  I want to add a 12v air-x turbine into the system.  (I already have the turbine) what kind of charge controller will step up the dc voltage, and does altE carry it?  The solar system is already in operation and works great.

Rhett

This is a device that will step up 12vdc to 24vdc.

However, I do not know anyone that has successfully used one to do what you are proposing.
First, it will cost you at least 5% of your generation.  Next, there is the potential of logic conflicts between this device and the regulation scheme of the Air X.  This would at minimum increase the losses. It could also shorten the life of the converter.
Last, look at the price.

Sell your Air-X and buy a 24vdc turbine.

Ya those converters are great for stepping up or down to run a load but don't think you want them in your charging system.
Those air-x's come in 12volt or 24 volt configuration. So it could just be a matter of changing the rectifier and charge controller out on it to the 24 volt one.
You could try contacting the place you bought it to see about that or contacting air-x directly. I don't think the 24volt would have different windings but I could be wrong. Ah looking at it there's got to be major differences in them. Most alternators reach 24 volts at about double the speed so it's probably even wound differntly.
