Iota battery chargers

I have a friend with an Iota DLS55 (55 amp at 12v) battery charger and he asked me about increasing the charge amperage to his eight T105 type deep cycle batteries.  He does not have the budget to replace his old Trace inverter (inverter is fine but charger failed a year ago) so the idea is to repace or add to the existing Iota DLS55.

My question is if we could add another DLS55 to the existing one?  They are inexpensive and adding another is much less than replacing with something like a DLS90.  So the idea is to hook then up in parallel.  Any ideas?

Thanks,
Michael
