Exposed Wire Protection for Ground Mount Systems

The NEC requires protection for the exposed wiring on ground mount systems.  If the lowest wires are less than 6' off the ground (which one might achieve with a pole-mount), it probably requires fencing around the array (below the front edge; closing off the ends; along the back) order to make the wires inaccessible.

I am seeking good ideas for an attractive means of making the exposed wiring inaccessible for a high-visibility array.  One idea was to use lattice that would create a fence while also allowing good air flow.  Someone else suggested an electric fence :-) like they use to contain livestock; I'm not sure that would fly.

Any other suggestions?

Great idea if I can convince my AHJ/Local Inspector to agree that it makes the wiring inaccessible!  Has anyone tried this approach?...and succeeded with their inspection?

Alternatively, can't you just put the wires in a conduit?
