Adding wind turbine to off grid solar system

Hi everyone, I'm new here, but have a question.  I have a 48V off grid solar system with a 10KW generator as a back up.  I want to add some wind generators, but am not sure what all it will take to wire them in.  I have an outback charge controller and 2 xantrex inverters.  any suggestions?

Thanks!

Re: Adding wind turbine to off grid solar system

depends on what turbine.  most turbines will have controllers with dump loads that come with them if they are designed for battery charging.  any controls for the wind will be completely independent of the photovoltaics controller(s).

cheers,
