24v - 48v

24v - 48v

Hello,

I have an AirX 403 24v turbine and need to change the current output from 24v to 48v, would anyone have a clue as to how to do that?  What would be the cons of doing that?  AirX does not make a 48v model so I didn't have the choice of purchasing that model.  Thanks.

It looks like there is a 48V model either coming out soon or has just come out.

I just bot a 48 volt Air X

I am looking for 12 or 24 volt models used...I would be willing to buy yours

If the output is AC and not DC the cheap method is to use a 120vac to 240vac transformer from any electrical supply.  24 in will produce 48 out.   Make sure the current of the transformer is high enough to cover your needs.   Any transformers with a 1:2 ratio with a voltage higher than 48V should work, the above mentioned is an off the self item.  There will be a small power lost as is normal in any transformer.   If it is DC all the rules change.
