altE Store is excited to be a Workshop Presenting Sponsor and exhibitor at SolarFest 2014, July 18-20, in Tinmouth, VT. This event draws in those interested in solar and renewable energy technologies and sustainable living. SolarFest’s non-profit mission statement sums it up well: “SolarFest connects people, the arts, ideas and technology, fostering partnerships to create a vibrant present and a sustainable future.”
At this three day event, along with the entertainment, mini maker faire and family friendly activities, there will also be a full line-up of workshops given by experts in their field.
Our own Solar Queen, Amy Beaudet, will be presenting two workshops on Saturday, July 19th. Amy has been selling alternative energy products at the altE Store for over 6 years. She has taught both solar electric and solar thermal classes at numerous events. She has designed and sold solar systems for every continent on the planet.
Her first workshop, Intro to Solar Electric Systems, begins at 11:30 AM in Workshop Tent #3. If you want to soak in a deeper understanding of solar electric design, stop by her workshop, Designing Solar Electric Systems, in Workshop Tent #1 at 4:00 PM.
