We’re Moving! New, Expanded Location for altE Headquarters & Warehouse.

altE Store new office at 330 Codman Hill Rd, Boxboro, MA

We’re super excited about our move! altE’s Northeast headquarters (office and warehouse space combined) is moving to a larger, more easily accessible location at 330 Codman Hill Road, Boxborough, MA. Our new Boxborough location is just 10 minutes north of our current location and is conveniently located right off of Interstate 495 keeping altE, the leading distributor of solar panels and solar power products, centrally located in the Northeast region.

Why are we so excited about the new location?
Simply put, our new location will enable us to serve you better. Here are five reasons why this move improves our ability to serve you:

  1. Convenient location – right off the highway. If you live in the Northeast, you may have already taken advantage of our customer pickup option which allows you to bypass shipping fees and shipping time on your orders. Our new office and warehouse is located just off I-495 and Rt 111, making your pickup stop that much easier and faster to complete.

  2. More warehouse storage space. Not only is the square footage of our new, modern warehouse increasing dramatically – our entire warehouse is located on the first floor with two loading docks. This will provide much faster and easier customer pickup options.

  3. More products in stock. More warehouse space means we can stock more products!  From solar panels, charge controllers, inverters and more – our new warehouse space means that we’ll have more of the solar products you want in stock and ready to be shipped out immediately to you.

  4. Meeting space for customers and trainings. Need to come meet with one of our knowledgeable technical sales reps, see the newest solar products on the market or attend an educational training session? We will have a larger conference room and a new showroom set up specifically for Vendor trainings and displays.

  5. Next door to altE Direct’s Dealer & Installer Conference. Just around the corner from the Holiday Inn where we hold our annual Dealer & Installer conference, our new office and warehouse location will surely be a sightseeing, product-pickup stop during the event come February 2015!

Now that you’ve heard why we’re so excited about our move, we hope to have given you some reasons to be excited too! We are currently in the process of moving and plan to be all moved into the new space by this July (2014).  We’ll be hosting an Open House Event in the near future, so stay tuned for those details and we hope to meet you there as our guest!

That’s an interesting idea Guy. As a former EV owner (converted Chevy S-10) myself I do really like the idea of having a station right at our location. Once we get comfortable in our new location our likely first big project will be to put solar on our leased building’s roof. We’ll certainly consider it for a possible second project. Thanks for the suggestion!

Have you guys considered installing a level II EV charging station on the wall of your new building? It should be pretty easy if you’re parking lot abuts the walls of the building.
