I installed this product a few days ago in my SPP-30 evacuated tube collector. It is a perfect fit in the header tube of this particular collector and since it sits deep inside the sensor tube, it reduces the short cycling of the pump as the sun rises and heats only the first tube in the collector at this time of year. I highly recommend using a heat transfer paste to install this item in the header tube. While not the least expensive 10K sensor on the market, it is well made and worth the extra cost. Probably never have to replace the thing.
