Portable power when power is gone
Having a pair of these and P30s to charge a Xantrex 1500 battery has been great on sunny days when the power goes out. A mppt controller from Solar Converters, keeps the battery charged while powering a freezer. In 2008, Hurricane Ike rolled thru and knocked out power for 7 days. Nice to have a silent alternative to the chatter of generator. Then again, cloudy days are generator days. Options are good to have.
The best part is that the space savings is fantastic when not in use. all 4 panels fit in a duffel bag.
