Bz 240 14A, 12V Pwm Charge Controller
As far as I can tell, the unit doesn't do anything. The unit is connected to a 30 watt panel and I use a 105 a/h gel type battery and I only need it for 12 volt, LED lighting(70 m/amp) and a small am/fm radio(400 m/amps), for when the power fails.

Upon connecting the panel to the unit, and the unit to the battery, both a red and yellow and green LED came on. within 15 minutes (during FULL SUNLIGHT), the green LED went out and only the yellow and red LED's stayed lit. Within 2 hours of the sun going down, only the red LED was lit. Obviously, the battery was draining and I've been unable to find the cause.

The panel itself was putting out 24.6 volts and the controller was putting out 12.8 volts but it failed to charge the battery over a period of 3 days of complete sunlight during August (16 hrs of sun a day). Even disconnecting the wiring from the battery when the sun went down failed to charge the battery over a period of 6 days.

I wrote 4 e-mails to this company asking what the problem might be and never received a reply, at which time, I gave up.

My overall thoughts is that I paid $54.00+ for a red and yellow LED.

BEWARE, THIS IS JUNK!!!!
