Staber 2000 Washer-White, Hxw2404, Comm.
We bought this washer after visiting friends who had them. We all operate off grid, so efficient appliances are a must. We had to really think about this carefully as we also don\'t have the money to waste on a piece of junk. Was this ever a mistake! The washer is really tacky in materials and workmanship. Seems to be like a protype instead of a finished product. Very rough inside and out. If you don\'t know how to fix appilances, don\'t get one of these. No one can repair them. After just 2 years, the control board went bad. It took many phone calls to get anyone to return my calls. Then snotty answers. It wasn\'t like this when I ordered. This is a crummy washer in every way. I am finding more and more people all the time having the same experience. When we have our open house for the National Solar Home Tour, we lable everything to advertise it. We will be having some really nice signs on a couple of things this year! Don\'t waste your money. There goes over $1,000.00 for a piece of junk. We are not wealthy enough to replace this, so we\'re stuck. Thanks Staber for a crappy product and a great way to rip off the American public legally!
