We bought the Staber 2000 almost 10 yr ago because we rented a house in the country that had a well and septic. I absolutely love this machine. The front access for repairs is one of its best features. I have had a couple of small problems and called the company, the representative talked me through the repair. One time I had a kink in the back hose and the safety device prevented it from doing damage. The other time I had to push a reset button. It would have cost me a lot of money to call in a repair man to do two small fixes. We have also replaced one bearing. We owned a Kenmore before and spent hundreds of dollars over 5 years repairing it so I think we have done pretty good with the Staber. \r\n\r\nMy daughter always comments on how clean our granddaughters clothes are when she comes home from a visit. There is a marked difference in how my machine cleans compared to hers. This is the best machine I have ever used and we have definately made the most of our money by purchasing it.\r\nI would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to save money, water, and detergent.\r\n\r\nTina

We haven't plugged this machine into our solar pannels yet(don't actually own any at the moment). But this washing mahine has worked pretty well. Some sensitive knobs that you have to be careful with. Overall has handled three plus loads a week for more than two years now and handles big loads. Clothing always comes out clean!
