AltE Celebrates Ten Year Anniversary

Hudson, Massachusetts based AltE, formerly The Alternative Energy Store, is celebrating their ten year anniversary this spring, and offering customers incentives and new resources in honor of this major milestone.

"We’re really thrilled to hit the ten year mark in this year when renewable energy is gaining such prominence in the United States," explained Sascha Deri, CEO of AltE. "When we started our company in 1999 we really just had a garage and a desire to make a difference in the world and it’s very gratifying to see how far we've come, and even more exciting to see where we’re going!"

With a special 10 Year Anniversary postcard campaign, customers are galvanized to finalize their RE purchases. Those purchases are supported with educational resources like the new "Design" and "Build" sections recently added to the AltE store and the top notch sales team who guide customers at all levels of awareness through system assessment, design and purchase.

AltE is growing at a healthy rate, sustaining three separate office in Hudson, Massachusetts, Columbus, Ohio and San Jose, Costa Rica. Targeting the DIY renewable energy marketplace, they also support two other divisions as well as their successful ecommerce website, AltE University and AltE Direct.

AltE University is based in the Hudson, Massachusetts office and offers classes about renewable energy to residential homeowners and commercial installers. In 2009 AltE University has significantly expanded its class offerings including a 301 series of classes geared towards individuals who want hands on experience completing renewable energy technology installations. AltE Direct is the wholesale division of the company, working with a growing list of installers nationwide and providing them with high quality, well priced renewable energy equipment and components as well as top notch system design services.
