Pre-built E-Panels with Magnum Inverters

The Midnite Solar E-Panel saves time, money and space. It is a compact, affordable panel for mounting a single inverter. But it is also modular for mounting multiple inverters.

The pre-wired E-Panel systems include the following:

  • Magnum Energy Inverter/Charger
  • MidNite Solar E-Panel
  • Magnum ME-RC50 remote display mounted on E-Panel
  • (2) 63 amp/150VDC charge controller in/out breakers
  • DC lightning arrestor on PV input bus
  • (2) AC lightning arrestors on 120/240 VAC system
  • Outback Flexmax 60 Charge Controller or Outback Flexmax 80 Charge Controller ready (wiring, conduit fittings, bracket) FlexMax NOT INCLUDED.
  • 175 or 250 Amp inverter battery breaker
  • AC bypass breaker assembly
  • AC input disconnect breaker (generator or utility)
  • AC terminal bus bars for input, output and neutral
  • Ground busbar
  • DC positive busbar (battery plus)
  • PV positive busbar (PV plus input)
  • DC negative busbar (battery negative and PV negative)
  • 500a/50mV shunt
  • 2/0 inverter interconnect cables (internal)
  • Din rail space for 5 additional AC or DC 13mm wide breakers
  • Wall mounting brackets
  • White metal shields to cover wiring top and bottom of inverter

Modular Design
Midnite Solar has designed a panel that is not only compact, but modular in that it can be stacked either horizontally or vertically. Unlike other Power Systems that tend to take up a large amount of horizontal space, by using a vertically stacked pair of E-Panels you can have two inverters in about the same space as a broom closet.
 

Easy Installation
Another plus of the E-Panel is that with the unique hinged door, you mount the inverter to the door while it lays flat on your bench and then simply hang it on the panel which has already been mounted to the wall. You simply lift it up, insert tab "A" into slot "B" and you are done. There are no fasteners required at this point, so no need to try to balance an inverter and remember where you left your extra set of hands. It's no longer necessary to call the local crane company nor three of your friends to help you with the install. One person can do it quite nicely!


Easy Access to Wiring
Concerned that such a compact panel will not provide sufficient access to the wiring? Once again, the hinged door makes it easy. Simply swing it out of the way and you have unobstructed access to all wiring.
