The Sunny Boy Control Plus is the ultimate in data acquisition, manipulation, and storage. With extra analog and digital channels for increased data monitoring, the Sunny Boy Control Plus is the formost tool for PV plant analysis. With its additional communication port the Sunny Boy Control Plus can be used to talk to a BetaBrite lobby display in addition to its normal communication channel to a PC.

The sunny boy control plus is highly flexable in its communication options. Communication between the Sunny Boy inverters and the Sunny Boy Control can be accomplished through the Powerline, RS 485, or RS 232. Between your Sunny Boy Control and your PC communication is usualy accomplished with RS 232. The optional RS 485 interface allows for future expansion of you PV plant with the ability to communicate to multiple Sunny Boy Controls.

All Sunny Boys are able to send their data via the integrated Powerline modem via the public utility grid. On request an RS485 connection can be integrated.
The Sunny Data Control software developed by SMA evaluates and displays the data acquired.
