Go Power! DC Installation Kits include everything you will need to properly connect your Go Power! Inverter to the batteries. Included are 10' large gauge battery cables, tie downs and the appropriate inverter fuse and mounting block.

Installation

1. The inverter fuse is to be mounted on the postive cable near the battery.
2. Cut the postive (red) cable according to desired location. Strip ½” to ¾” of insulation from the cables, and connect the fuse block as shown.
3. Tighten the lugs to 10 ft. lbs.
4. Observe the polarity of the cables (red = positive) (black = negative) and connect accordingly to the inverter.

Basic DC Kit Setup

1. Warnings
Avoid All Electrical Hazards. Disconnect batteries and electrical system from 120/240 VAC, or any other power source of electrical power, before attempting to install your Go Power! GP-DC Install Kit.

Observe proper polarity throughout the installation process. Work Safely. Do not wear jewellery when working with electrical or mechanical equipment. Use protective eyewear, gloves and apron when working with batteries or power tools. Use extreme caution when on ladders or a roof.

Follow the Safety Precautions of the battery manufacturer. Do not produce sparks when working in locations where flammable gases or vapours exist. Shield skin and eyes from battery acid. If skin, eyes or clothing comes in contact with acid rinse thoroughly with water.

*Avoid electrical shock. Make sure all sources (inverter, shore power, generator) are disconnected.
