This is a set of four warning labels designed for grid-tied PV systems. Recommended for use in indentification of DC Disconnects, Inverters and Combiner Boxes.

The labels are manufactured using ultraviolet (UV) resistant ink, permanent acrylic adhesive and base material designed to withstand environmental elements. A laminate is added to further add protection against prolonged UV exposure.

The lettering on each label is bright white text printed on a red background, and reads as follows:

 

SOLAR DISCONNECT

Warning - Electric Shock Hazard
DO NOT TOUCH TERMINALS
Terminals on both Line and Load sides
may be energized in the Open Position.

WARNING - Dual Power Sources
Second source is photovoltaic system

DC DISCONNECT

Warning - Electric Shock Hazard
DO NOT TOUCH TERMINALS
Terminals on both Line and Load sides
maybe energized in the Open Position.

DC VOLTAGE IS ALWAYS PRESENT WHEN
SOLAR MODULES ARE EXPOSED TO SUNLIGHT
