Adjustable Silicone Edgewound Resistors for Dump Loads

Huntington Electric's edgewound resistors are designed for applications demanding maximum power dissipation in minimum space. Edgewound resistors are constructed of special alloy resistance wire crimped and wound on edge. High quality ceramic cores are used with a coating of silicone to provide a heat sink for short term overloads and maximum dissipation.

Units are available in multi-resistor banks for even larger power requirements. Standard units are supplied without terminal hardware or enclosures.
