Tyco PV Grounding Assembly, 6-8 AWG Solid

Solid Wire Grounding Assembly 2058729-1 is used with metal-framed photovoltaic (solar) panels and related products that require grounding for safety reasons. UL Approved.

The grounding assembly consists of a wire bolt (wire slot on one end and threaded post on the other), 9/16" hex nut, and 11/32" hex washer nut. See the Product Documentation section above for a technical drawing and installation details.

Warning! The directions for this product specify drilling a hole in the module frame. Many module manufacturers will void warranties based on modifying the modules. Most modules have grounding holes marked with symbols on the frames that may negate the need to drill additional holes. Check with the module manufacturer before modifying any module.
