Domestic (US) Shipping Policy

All Shipments

  • We must be notified of any damage, on any shipment immediately. Delays in notification can result in claim denials by the freight company involved.
  • In an effort to be sure that orders that require same day shipping get out in a timely manner, please note the following: Any order placed through the web site, requesting same day shipment, must be placed no later than 11:30 EST.  For orders requiring expedited shipping after 11:30, we recommend you call our Sales line at 1-877-878-4060 before 2:30 PM EST.  Also, please keep in mind that some locations (especially rural) may not be eligible for expedited deliveries from Fedex or other similar carriers.  There may also be an additional handling fee for expedited order requests or for late cancellations of orders where expedited shipping was requested.  This will vary depending on the time frame associated and the location of the shipment.
  • In many cases, we can ship on your own carrier account.  Please ask at time of order entry.  There may be a handling charge for this service.

Small Package Shipping

  • We ship most items Fedex ground. Depending on the item, we may be able to use UPS or USPS if you prefer. Please specify your shipping preference at the time of your order. Some items, such as larger solar panels, are too large to ship via USPS, Fedex, or UPS and truck freight will be the only option.
  • Please note that we can not guarantee shipments with USPS. If a shipment does not arrive when shipped via USPS, we will not be able to refund your money or replace the item until the USPS insurance claim has been processed (typically takes 6 months).  
  • Within the US in-stock items will normally ship out within 1 business day. Depending on your location transit times can take from 1 to 6 additional days.

Truck Freight Shipments

  • Item with a truck symbol next to them denote that they must be shipped via truck.  Some of the carriers we use include (ABF, FedEx freight, Yellow/Roadway, R & L Carriers etc..)  Shipping for these items will not calculate automatically online.  To order these items online, simply add them to you cart, place the order and one of our sales reps will be happy to contact you with a shipping quote for your order.  We will not ship your order until you have confirmed and accepted the shipping charges.
  • When you receive an item via truck freight, you must inspect it BEFORE SIGNING the delivery receipt.  If you do not note any possible damage on the delivery receipt, then we will have no recourse with the freight company to get you reimbursed for damages.  If the driver is unwilling to wait while you inspect all you items, please mark on the delivery receipt "Concealed Damage Possible".
  • Please specify at the time of order, if you will need a lift gate.  A lift gate is used to move items down from the truck to ground. If the item is heavy and going to a residential address, you will most likely need one of these.
  • We cannot guarantee that the truck driver will help unload your shipment.  This depends on the driver, so you should be prepared to unload it without the drivers help.
  • Please notify us at time of the order if the ship to address is residential or commercial.
  • Within the US in-stock items will normally ship out within 1 business day. Depending on your location transit times can take from 1 to 6 additional days.
