using wind energy for reverse osmosis process

we are looking in the middle east for a system that could hanress wind energy for reverse osmosis process .
Did any body try that (dicretly or indirectly) i.e by producing electric power first or direct pressure from the wind turbine

questions:

what phase does your system use?
how many watts/volts/amps does it use?

we have tried a similar project using a water maker, it did work with solar panels and a large battery bank. please reply to ccrinche @ yahoo.com
