Solar Pond Diffuser Project

I have supplies that I am trying to hook up to make a diffuser system for a small pond.

We currently have:
4 - 85 watt, 12 volt solar panels
2- 12 volt batteries
1- 24 volt, 11 amp compressor
1 - 50 amp charge controller
1 - solar panel hub

To get the correct voltage to run the compressor we have hooked up the batteries in series.

My question is, what is the best way to charge the 24 volt battery bank with the 12 volt panels?

Thanks!

Carrie,  wire two of the 12 volt panels in series to get 24 volts, then the two pair of panels in parallel. Batteries in series as well as you mention. Then set your controller for 24 volts...you should get 24 volts at around 12 amps out of the array
