Solar & Wind

At age 50 I am looking for a Solar & wind Generator system for my home of 2800 sq. ft.
I would like a 240 vac system large enough for total electrical plus power sell back to the power grid. My home has never drawn over 20 amps of power even on the most demanding days. I currently have a 12kw standby generator as our power goes out quite often.

I need a list of equipment,( batteries, inverters, PV panels, Etc) and a ball park figure as to cost.

I am serrious about making my home as cost efficient as possible for retirement.

              Thanks

Re: Solar & Wind

I need to know a couple of more things about your system to be able to give you a quote. The main thing is the issue of time of use - you mention that you have never used more than 20 amps but is that over 24 hours or for 6 hours or for how long? Do you currently have an electric bill? If so, if you can give me an idea of the kilowatt hour usage per month I will be able to come up with a more accurate price quote. Also, what state do you live in?
