Jacobs 1800 Watt with 50 ft. Tower for sale

1948 Jacobs Wind Electric with 50 foot tiltable tower for sale.  Generator, blades, and governor were rebuilt by Mick Sagrillo of Lake Michigan Wind and Sun in 1995.  Unit has been in service since then until our home in Chadron, NE was lost to a forest fire in the summer of 2012.  The wind generator and tower were sufficiently remote from the location to have remained undamaged.  They were inspected by a local service for the insurance company and found to be undamaged.  We have decided not to rebuild and plan to transfer the property to the state to expand an adjacent park.  The tower and turbine need to be removed.  Our best estimate of the value is $10,000 for the turbine, tower, governor, and blades (complete).  Buyer must remove.  This system in being offered only as a complete package.  $10,000 or best offer.
